20 Party Questions for Serial Entrepreneur Sean Finn

American entrepreneur and founder of the Houston-based real estate investment and development firm Finn & Company, Sean Finn has spearheaded business ventures in the fields of energy, entertainment, real-estate development, and health care, resulting in transactions in the hundreds of millions of dollars. In 2016, Finn was awarded “Deal of the Year” by the Houston Business Journal after purchasing five hundred thousand feet of office space from Exxon and developing it into a thriving super-center in Houston. Among many other entrepreneurial undertakings over the years, Finn also aligned himself with the entertainment industry by becoming an equity partner on such films as “Black Swan” (Natalie Portman), “Hacksaw Ridge” (Mel Gibson), and “Black Mass” (Johnny Depp), to name a few. Here are 20 party questions to help you get to know Sean a little better.
We know you’re jet setter. Where do you call home?
Miami right now.
What designers have you met or been impressed with in terms of their show or line?
Victoria Beckham at NY Fashion Week.
Favorite designer?
My good friend Julien Macdonald.
Favorite look?
As Julien would say, you can never go wrong in all black.
We see you out and about in Los Angeles a lot. What’s your go-to restaurant there?
Catch in West Hollywood. I’m good friend with the Fertitta family and I always like to drop by when I’m in town.
And your go-to dinner there?
Any one of their sushi dishes.
Favorite drink?
Tequila on a single rock cube.
Favorite late-night place in Hollywood?
Chateau Marmont.
We’ve seen you courtside at a lot of the NBA finals. Who’s your favorite team right now?
The Houston Rockets are always my favorite. But right now I’m rooting for the Boston Celtics with Marcus Smart back in their lineup.
Tacos or pizza?
Tacos.
Favorite taco?
Vegetarian (JK!).
Plans for summer?
To travel through Europe. I always like a stop in Montenegro for a game of tennis with Janko and Biljana Tipsarević.
What movie are you looking forward to seeing this summer?
Top Gun: Maverick — Tom Cruise.
I know you’re planning to attend Miami Swim weeks this summer. Who’s your favorite designer for that?

Solano (SOL).
Favorite restaurant in Miami right now?
Carbone and Papi Steak. They’re both great and always turn into a late night at either place.
Didn’t you just have dinner at Papi Steak with some of the Boston Celtic after their win in Miami?
Yes, with Markus Smart.
Favorite place to work out while in Miami?
Barry’s Boot Camp, South Beach.
